Inspired by the delicate beauty of pansies, this exploration translates the flower’s soft violet hues and layered textures into tactile surfaces. The project captures the essence of the pansy — fragile yet expressive — where each petal becomes a metaphor for emotion, memory, and transformation.

Through weaving, appliqué, gathering, hand-stitching, distressing, honeycomb smocking, and photo embroidery, the fabric evolves into a landscape of depth and rhythm. Each manipulation technique contributes a distinct gesture — stitches as veins, gathers as folds of a petal, and textures as moments of organic imperfection
